Second edition of BAS EN 62586-1: 2018, Power quality measurement in power supply systems - Part 1: Power quality instruments (PQI), was adopted by translation method through the Technical Committee BAS/TC 10, Electrical energy measurment equipment and load control.

The Institute of Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, through its Technical Committee BAS/TC 30, Electric cables, adopted by translation method the second edition of BAS IEC 61443: 2018, Short-circuit temperature limits of electrical cables with rated voltages above 30 kV (Um = 36 kV) which is a translation of the English version of the international standard IEC 61443: 2001 and its amendment BAS IEC 61443/A1: 2010, Short-circuit temperature limits of electrical cables with rated voltages above 30 kV (Um = 36 kV).
The second edition of the International Standard BAS ISO 3297: 2019, Information and Documentation - International Standard Serial Publication Number - ISSN, was adopted by translation method into the BiH standardization system. The standard defines and promotes the use of a standard code for the unique identification of serials and other continuing resources.

The new, eighth edition of BiH standard BAS EN 590 + A1: 2018, Automotive fuels - Diesel - Requirements and test methods has been published. The standard is taken over by translation method of European standard EN 590: 2013 + A1: 2017, Automotive fuels - Diesel - Requirements and test methods.
The new, eighth edition of the BiH standard BAS EN 228 + A1: 2018, Automotive fuels - Unleaded petrol - Requirements and test methods, was published. The standard is adopted by translation method of the European standard EN 228: 2012 + A1: 2017, Automotive fuels - Unleaded petrol - Requirements and test methods.
On Friday, December 14, 2018, the Director of the Institute for Standardization of BiH, Mr. Aleksandar Cincar, and the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Ms. Brankica Milojević, signed Memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the field of standardization within the Solemn Academy on the occasion of 22nd anniversary of the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy of the University of Banja Luka.
Second edition of BiH standard BAS EN 14351-1 + A2: 2018, Windows and doors - Product standard, performance characteristics - Part 1: Windows and external pedestrian doorsets was adopted into the BiH standardization system by translation method.

On November 9, 2018, on behalf of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Deputy Director Mr. Borislav Kraljević, donated copies of the Handbook on Eurocodes to the Library of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Mostar, and the Library of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University “Džemal Bijedić”.
BiH Committee of the International Council on Large Electrical Systems (BH O CIGRÉ) and BiH Committee of the International Conference on Electricity Distribution (BH K CIRED) organized the First Consultation that was held from 14 to 16 October, 2018 in Mostar.
From 16 to 19 October, 2018, a training course titled “ISO Regional Training on Good Standardization Practices (GSP)” was held in the Chinese city of Qingdao.
Workshop “The way forward for the Eurocodes implementation in the Balkans” was held in Tirana from 10 to 11 October 2018.
From 9 to 11 October in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, an ISO regional workshop on implementing national standardization strategies was held, which was organized by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in cooperation with the Center for Standardization and Metrology under the Ministry of Economic Regulation of the Kyrgyz Republic (KYRGYZST).
