New BAS standard adopted by translation method

Standard BAS ISO 128-24:2015, Technical drawing – General principles of presentation – Part 24: Lines on mechanical engineering drawings, third edition, is a translated version of International standard ISO 128-24:2014.

Memorandum of Understanding with Hydrometeorological Institutes

By signing the Memorandum of Understanding, the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina established cooperation with the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute of Republic of Srpska (RHMZRS) and Hydrometeorological Institute of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FHMZBiH).

Cooperation Agreement with Chamber of Commerce of Republic of Srpska

The agreement on cooperation between the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Chamber of Commerce of Republic of Srpska was signed on June 29, 2015 in Banja Luka by Mr. Aleksandar Cincar, director of the Institute and Ms. Dragica Ristić, director of the Chamber of Commerce of Republic of Srpska.

Benefits of the effective and efficient national quality infrastructure in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Kick off meeting on „Benefits of the effective and efficient national quality infrastructure in Bosnia and Herzegovina“ was held at Vlašić on June 25, 2015. This meeting launched a new project under the leadership of the National Metrology Institute of Germany (PTB). The project will last from 2015 to 2017 and it has two components. The first aims at strengthening the capacities of the Institute for Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina and institutes for metrology of the entities. The second component relates to the development of the document "Quality Infrastructure Strategy in Bosnia and Herzegovina".

Working visit of the ÚNMZ delegation to the BAS Institute

From 18 to 19 June 2015, delegation of the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing, consisting of Mr. Miroslav Chloupek, Ms. Jindra Kafková and Ms. Klára Popadičová paid a working visit to the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The visit was organized within the project “Support to the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the area of implementation of Eurocodes”
