Each year on 14 October, the members of the IEC, ISO and ITU celebrate World Standards Day, which is a means of paying tribute to the collaborative efforts of thousands of experts worldwide who develop the voluntary technical agreements that are published as International Standards. Federal Ministry of Physical Planning - Bylaws referring to BAS standards

The Federal Ministry of Physical Planning is the public administration body in Bosnia and Herzegovina that has adopted the largest number of acts referring to BAS standards, which creates conditions and preconditions for their better application, removal of barriers to trade, removal of differences between national technical regulations of different countries.

New free standards available

CEN, the European Committee for Standardization, agreed, in collaboration with all their Members and after the urgent request from the European Commission, to make temporarily available for free a new set of European standards (ENs). The seven standards cover respiratory equipment and patient critical care ventilators.

Council of Ministers of BiH - Bylaws reffering to BAS standards

Within activities carried out by the Institute for Standardization of BiH in the previous period, which were related to the identification of laws and bylaws referring to BAS standards, it was established that the Council of Ministers of BiH adopted 35 such regulations.
