The Director of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Aleksandar Todorović, attended the seventh Energy Summit, held from March 25 to 27, 2026, in Trebinje. The three-day event, held under the slogan “Artificial Intelligence Drives and Shapes the Energy Future of the Region,” gathered more than 700 participants, including some of the most prominent energy experts from the region and beyond.

During the three-day summit, several panels were held focusing on topics such as the energy transition, the development of renewable energy sources, the electricity market, energy storage, as well as the challenges of connecting new generation capacities to the grid.

Participants of the 7th Summit agreed that the energy future of the Western Balkans must be built jointly through cooperation, market integration, and the implementation of shared projects.
