The Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina has published amendments to BAS EN ISO 9001:2015 and BAS EN ISO 45001:2019, introducing additional requirements related to climate change.

The amendments were adopted through the translation method and published as:

·         BAS EN ISO 9001/A1:2025, Quality management systems – Requirements – Amendment 1: Climate action changes

·         BAS EN ISO 45001/A1:2025, Occupational health and safety management systems – Requirements with guidance for use – Amendment 1: Climate action changes

These amendments introduce new requirements for organizations to consider climate change as a relevant factor when determining issues that may affect the achievement of the objectives of the management system.

The amendments are available free of charge, allowing all stakeholders easy access and facilitating the implementation of the new requirements into existing management systems.
