11th International Ex-Symposium at Fruška Gora

The 11th International Ex-Symposium was held at Fruška Gora on 25–26 September 2025, organized by the Institute for Prevention, Novi Sad. The event brought together experts from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovenia.

The symposium was organized with the aim of gathering legislators, conformity assessment bodies, manufacturers, distributors, and users in this area, to exchange new experiences, good practice, and to consider possible solutions regarding the challenges in the adoption and implementation of technical regulations, recommendations, rulebooks, and other mandatory documents.

On behalf of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ISBIH), Goran Tešanović and Goran Mrkaja participated as members of the BiH Ex-Commission, while Jusuf Delić, Adnan Karić, and Isad Turalić attended as external collaborators of the BiH Ex-Commission.

In total, ten papers were presented at the symposium, including the paper titled:

“Contribution to achieving the integrity of explosion protection of installations with the aim of increasing safety in areas endangered by explosive atmospheres in Bosnia and Herzegovina”* by Jusuf Delić, Chairman of the BiH Ex-Commission. Co-authors of the paper were Goran Tešanović and Goran Mrkaja.
