NAPOMENA 2 uz termin: Ciljevi mogu da se odnose na različite discipline (kao što su finansijski ciljevi, ciljevi u vezi sa zdravljem i bezbjednošću, kao i životnom sredinom). Oni mogu da budu, na primjer, na nivou cijele organizacije ili specifični za projekat, proizvod, uslugu i proces (3.9).
NAPOMENA 3 uz termin: Cilj može da se izrazi i na druge načine, npr. kao predviđeni ishod, svrha, operativni kriterijum, kao cilj za bezbjednost, ili korišćenjem drugih riječi sličnog značenja (npr. sveukupni cilj, opšti cilj ili posebni cilj).
